This page contains a collection of information that you will need and want to know.

1) Attendees are responsible for their transportation to and from layouts. The info packets provided will have lists of who is attending sessions at each layout. So check who is going to the same layouts as you and arrange carpools with your fellow attendees.

2) Maps will NOT be provided as Smartphone GPS and other GPS devices are so prevalent so bring yours with if you have one.

3) Info packets will contain detailed schedules for Op Sessions as in the past plus names, addresses and phone numbers for each layout owner as well as ONE overall Twin Cities map showing general location of layouts, hotel, hobby shops, etc so you can see where they are in relation to each other.

4) There will NOT be formal open houses during Minn-Rail but layout owners may provide "flyers" with info on open houses they will hold - if so, these flyers will be available at registration so be sure to take them if you want to attend.

I've had a few inquiries about the weather. Here's the official rundown:

bulletOctober 13: The normal high is 60 with a record high of 84 in 1956 and the normal low is 41 with a record low of 22 in 1917. Sunrise is at 7:26 AM and sunset is at 6:32 PM.
bulletOctober 14: The normal high is 59 with a record high of 86 in 1947 and the normal low is 40 with a record low of 24 in 1937. Sunrise is at 7:27 AM and sunset is at 6:30 PM.
bulletOctober 15: The normal high is 59 with a record high of 85 in 1968 and the normal low is 40 with a record low of 21 in 1876. Sunrise is at 7:28 AM.

The current long range forecast calls for cooler than normal temps and a chance of precipitation on all three days.
